#YUCATÁN | La Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) obtuvo vinculación a proceso contra Olvita “N” por su probable responsabilidad en el delito de uso de documento público falso para tramitar una solicitud de refugio en el país de una menor de edad extranjera.
De acuerdo con las indagatorias, el titular de la Oficina de Representación del Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) en el estado de Yucatán presentó una denuncia ante el agente de Ministerio Público de esa Fiscalía Federal en contra de una ciudadana guatemalteca que había mostrado un acta de nacimiento presuntamente apócrifa para acreditar su nacionalidad mexicana, al momento de tramitar una solicitud de condición de refugiado para su hermana.
El informe detalla que a principios de junio de 2025, Olvita “N” se presentó ante la Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR) con un acta de nacimiento, cuyo identificador electrónico no aparecía en actas del Registro Civil de Las Choapas, Veracruz, donde supuestamente fue expedida.
El agente del Ministerio Público Federal (MPF) aportó los datos de prueba suficientes ante el juez de Control, quien le impuso como medida cautelar presentarse cada mes y no salir ni del estado ni del país, y otorgó dos meses para la investigación complementaria.
A la persona mencionada se le presume inocente, mientras no exista sentencia condenatoria emitida por la autoridad judicial competente.
La Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores detecta de manera recurrente personas que presentan documentos apócrifos o alterados para obtener un pasaporte mexicano.
Aunque la dependencia no publica de forma periódica un conteo nacional de estos casos, existen investigaciones penales y alertas sobre esta modalidad de fraude.
Por ejemplo, las actas de nacimiento falsas son el documento apócrifo más frecuente que detecta la SRE durante el trámite de pasaportes. También se han detectado identificaciones oficiales alteradas, CURP con inconsistencias y documentos con datos modificados.
Cuando se detecta un documento falso, se avisa a la FGR, ya que el uso de documentos públicos falsos constituye un delito federal.
En Mérida el caso más reciente ocurrió en abril del presente año, cuando una mujer extranjera intentó obtener por primera vez un pasaporte mexicano utilizando un acta de nacimiento falsa.
Personal de la oficina de Pasaportes de la SRE detectó la irregularidad, presentó la denuncia ante la FGR y posteriormente la mujer fue vinculada a proceso por el delito de uso de documento público falso.
