#NACIONAL | La Profeco emitió un llamado a revisión para 5 mil 937 vehículos Mazda en México, debido a una falla de software que provoca que el indicador de combustible muestre un nivel mayor al real, lo que podría generar confusión entre las personas conductoras.
De acuerdo con lo señalado, el problema se detectó en el módulo de control de la carrocería (BCM), encargado de procesar información del tablero. La alerta fue identificada como el llamado a revisión 143/2025, difundido por la Secretaría de Economía y la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor.
Mazda CX-70 y CX-90 presentan falla en indicador de gasolina
El riesgo señalado por la autoridad es que el software del BCM ocasiona que el nivel de combustible del cuadro de instrumentos sea incorrecto, al marcar más gasolina de la que realmente hay en el tanque.
Los modelos involucrados son:
Mazda CX-70 modelo 2025
Mazda CX-90 modelos 2024 y 2025
En total, el llamado a revisión contempla 5 mil 937 unidades comercializadas en el país.
Como contramedida, la marca informó que se inspeccionará el vehículo y, en caso de ser necesario, se realizarán actualizaciones de software para corregir el fallo. Este procedimiento no tendrá costo para las personas consumidoras.
La Profeco destacó que estas acciones buscan prevenir riesgos derivados de una lectura incorrecta del nivel de combustible, como quedarse sin gasolina de manera inesperada.
Las personas propietarias de los modelos señalados podrán acudir a los distribuidores autorizados Mazda, donde se les indicará si su vehículo requiere la actualización correspondiente.
La dependencia recordó que los llamados a revisión no implican sanciones, sino medidas preventivas para garantizar la seguridad y correcto funcionamiento de los vehículos que circulan en el país.
