#VIRAL | Una mujer de 70 años fue víctima de una estafa en Argentina tras creer que mantenía una relación de amistad con el actor estadounidense Kevin Costner. Durante varios meses de conversaciones, un delincuente que suplantó la identidad del artista logró convencerla de transferir 3.6 millones de pesos argentinos, equivalentes a unos 42 mil 300 pesos mexicanos.
El engaño comenzó en 2025, cuando la víctima encontró en TikTok un perfil que aparentaba pertenecer al protagonista de El guardaespaldas y Danza con lobos. Posteriormente, el supuesto actor la invitó a continuar la conversación mediante la aplicación de mensajería Zangi. (Excélsior)
Con el paso del tiempo, el estafador ganó su confianza y le ofreció integrarse a un supuesto club oficial de admiradores. Para obtener una credencial de “socia fanática”, la mujer realizó dos transferencias por un total de 3 millones 621 mil pesos argentinos a una billetera virtual. Días después recibió un carnet falso que reforzó la credibilidad del fraude.
El delincuente incluso intentó convencerla de vender su vivienda en General Madariaga, bajo la promesa de comprarle otra casa en California. Sin embargo, la mujer no concretó esa operación.
Al descubrir que el perfil era falso gracias a comentarios de otros usuarios y verificar que el dinero había sido enviado a una cuenta bancaria en Argentina, la afectada presentó una denuncia ante la Fiscalía de General Madariaga, que ya investiga el caso para identificar a los responsables.
Las autoridades recordaron que este tipo de fraudes suelen prolongarse durante semanas o meses para generar confianza en las víctimas, por lo que recomendaron verificar la autenticidad de los perfiles, evitar enviar dinero a personas conocidas únicamente por Internet y desconfiar de cualquier solicitud económica realizada a nombre de celebridades.
