Al menos siete escopetas fueron encontradas durante la madrugada y mañana, en las regiones 248, 252 y 255 de Cancún, que se ubican en inmediaciones del Arco Norte.
De acuerdo con información extraoficial, tres armas fueron encontradas alrededor de las 02:00 horas en el fraccionamiento Vista Real. El resto fue localizado cerca de esta misma zona y en Villas del Mar, cerca de las 10:00 horas.

Fuentes extraoficiales señalaron que las armas podrían pertenecer al grupo delictivo que fue detenido hace algunos días, pues esta célula contaba con 20 armas largas y tres cortas, mismas que no fueron localizadas al momento de los cateos, de acuerdo con lo expuesto por el fiscal Óscar Montes de Oca durante una rueda de prensa.
Se espera que, en las próximas horas, la Fiscalía General del Estado brinde más información al respecto de estos hallazgos.
