Tigres de Quintana Roo trabajade cara a la Temporada 2023 de la Liga Mexicana de Beisbol, por lo que este miércoles anuncian la incorporación del lanzador panameño Alberto Guerreo a su roster.
Alberto Jesús Guerrero es nacido en Pacora, Panamá, un 13 de diciembre de 1997; actualmente cuenta con con 24 años y se desempeña principalmente como abridor, a pesar de ya tener una etapa de relevo.
Su andar en México es breve, ya que apenas debutó la pasada temporada de la Liga Mexicana del Pacífico con los Tomteros de Culiacán; sin embargo, la mayor parte de su carrera la realizóen sucursales de grandes ligas.
Con los guindas vio accion en ocho juegos, de los cuales cinco fueron como abridor, con un record de dos ganados por tres perdidos, su porcentaje arribó a 4.33, permitiendo únicamente un vuelacercas, otorgando 10 bases por bolas y sentenciando a 16 enemigos para un Whip de 1.33 en 27 epidosios lanzados.
Su paso por el beisbol inició en las sucursales de los Marlins de Miami, con los que jugó en 2015 y 2016. Posteriormente pasó a los Batavia Muckdogs equipo universitario de Nueva York con los que continuó su formación.
En 2021 alcanzó AAA con los Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, en donde tuvo acción por espacio de 15 innings un tercio, todos como relevo, en 11 juegos para un record de 1-1 en ganados y perdidos.
Guerrero se suma a la lista de extranjeros de los Tigres de Quintana Roo, la cual está conformada por el también lanzador Garrett Alexander, el infielder Lázaro Hernández y el outfielder Olmo Rosario. En los siguientes días se estará dando más información sobre la conformación del roster que buscará la estrella número 13.
