El gobierno de Quintana Roo, a través del programa alimentario, entregará 55 mil apoyos para combatir el hambre y la pobreza, destacó la gobernadora Mara Lezama Espinosa quien recorrió el centro de entrega en el municipio de Benito Juárez para constatar que se hace de forma directa, sin intermediarios y totalmente gratuita, a través de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social (Sedeso) con el apoyo de personal de los ayuntamientos.
Mara Lezama destacó que este gobierno humanista promueve el Nuevo Acuerdo por el Bienestar y Desarrollo de Quintana Roo, colocando en el centro de las decisiones a los seres humanos, para que tengan una alimentación suficiente y se avance en la disminución de la pobreza.
En este gobierno del cambio verdadero, la Gobernadora del Estado anunció la creación de la Agencia de Seguridad Alimentaria de Quintana Roo para que nadie tenga carencia de alimentos, principalmente en las zonas vulnerables.
Durante el recorrido se le explicó a la gobernadora Mara Lezama que en la primera etapa del inicio del programa se han entregado más de 20 mil apoyos gratuitos en 13 puntos de Benito Juárez y tres en Othón P. Blanco para hacer frente a la carencia alimentaria y llevar prosperidad compartida a las familias que más lo necesitan.
Este martes reiniciaron las entregas en Benito Juárez, el miércoles será en Othón P. Blanco, el jueves 22 en Felipe Carrillo Puerto, José María Morelos, Solidaridad y Puerto Morelos, y el martes 27 en Isla Mujeres y Cozumel.
Para cada municipio se asignó el número de apoyos alimentarios de acuerdo al porcentaje de carencia al acceso a la alimentación nutritiva y de calidad, emitido en el informe anual sobre la situación de pobreza y rezago social 2022, de la Unidad de Planeación y Evaluación de Programas para el Desarrollo de la Secretaría del Bienestar.
La gobernadora Mara Lezama saludó a las personas beneficiarias y supervisó, personalmente, el proceso con los capturistas de datos y la atención al público, a fin de constatar la entrega directa, trabajando de manera distinta para alcanzar resultados diferentes.
