Cancún, QRoo.- En solidaridad con Acapulco, la Asociación de Hoteles de Cancún, Puerto Morelos e Isla Mujeres está ofreciendo empleo a los trabajadores turísticos que se han visto afectados por la destrucción que dejó a su paso el huracán Otis.
Así lo dio a conocer Jesús Almaguer, presidente del organismo hotelero, quien explicó que tendrán cuidado de que los empleos ofrecidos sean para aquellos empleados que no participan en los trabajos de reconstrucción de la infraestructura de Acapulco.
Oferta de empleo y consideración de necesidades de vivienda
“Estamos enviando una carta a la Asociación de Hoteles de Acapulco, para ofrecer empleo al personal que no vaya a participar en la rehabilitación de los hoteles; es un acuerdo del consejo”, expuso el dirigente hotelero.
Aseguró que la oferta no es sólo de empleo sino que prevén las necesidades de vivienda que pudieran solicitar los trabajadores.
Anticipó además que aunque no es deseable, se prevé que mucho del turismo que tenía planeado visitar Acapulco, opte de último momento por otros destinos de playa, como el Caribe mexicano.
Ayuda de Quintana Roo a los damnificados por el huracán Otis
Aunado a la oferta de empleo, la gobernadora de Quintana Roo, Mara Lezama, dio el banderazo de salida de la primera ayuda de 50 toneladas de alimentos, artículos de higiene, medicamentos y ropa para los damnificados por el huracán Otis en Guerrero.
Los víveres fueron recolectados en los 15 centros de acopio que instaló el Sistema DIF Quintana Roo, y serán trasladados en un convoy compuesto por dos camiones de 10 toneladas y un tracto camión de 30 toneladas que va custodiado por elementos del Ejército.
