A partir del mediodía, el nuevo frente frío 31 ingresará sobre el norte de México, e interaccionará con una vaguada polar ubicada al norte de Chihuahua y Coahuila, y con las corrientes en chorro polar y subtropical, originando marcado descenso de la temperatura, heladas y vientos de 60 a 80 km/h en el Golfo de California. Habrá tolvaneras en Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León y Tamaulipas.
Por otra parte, un canal de baja presión sobre la Península de Yucatán y el ingreso de aire húmedo procedente del Mar Caribe ocasionarán chubascos en Quintana Roo y Campeche, así como lluvias aisladas en Yucatán.
Finalmente, la entrada de aire húmedo del Océano Pacífico generará chubascos con descargas eléctricas y posible caída de granizo en el Estado de México y lluvias aisladas en Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro y Ciudad de México.
